Oak Hill Ministries
Bible Study
Through our Sunday School and Discipleship Training ministries we offer you the chance to get to know God through ongoing study of His word. In addition you'll find a more intimate group in which you can minister and be ministered to.
Jug Band
Our church ministers to residents living in local nursing care facilities through this musical outreach. Adults of all ages are encouraged to join this group as they take the love of Christ to those who can no longer attend regular church services. See our calendar page for dates.
Bus Ministry
We run a 22 passenger bus in the Meridian area each Sunday morning. The schedule allows for participation in both Sunday School and Worship. To ride call us at
601-482-5583.
Joy Club
Senior Adults gather once each month for a time of food and fellowship as well as an inspiring program. The meal is pot luck and is coordinated around a different kind of meat each month which the church provides. Consult our calendar for the date and time.
Kurdish Alliance

Oak Hill is part of an effort to take the good news of Jesus to the Kurdish population of the nation of Turkey. Annual trips are conducted there in which participants get to meet this unique segment of Turkish society and share their faith. For more information call or email the pastor.
Upwards Football & Cheerleading

We at Oak Hill eagerly await our second season for this well organized Christian sports program. Upward Sports provides boys and girls a chance to learn the basics of flag football in a Christian environment free from the risk of injury associated with tackle football. It also excludes a “winning at all cost” atmosphere so prevalent in most sports programs. At each practice children are led in a devotion by their coach. During the season they are shown how to become a Christian. During each game halftime a devotion is presented for the benefit of those who come to support the children. The season is held each fall. Watch our website for registration dates.
Boy Scouts
Oak Hill gladly provides a home for Boy Scout Troop 316. We affirm the “Aims of Scouting” which are character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. We know that these things are taught in scripture as well as the Scouting program. Some of our scouts have already achieved the Eagle Scout rank. The troop meets on Monday nights at 6:30.
